It seems “The Real World” Denver cast continues to amuse the locals with their reliably drunken antics. This from a little birdie that saw them at J.R.’s Bar and Grill (where a gay cast member named “Jeremy” (maybe Davis?) is rumored to work as a barback. Our little birdie tried unsuccessfully to “avoid the debacle” when some of the cast and crew showed up on Saturday, June 17:
“There were four of them — one guy and three girls. Everybody at the bar just stood around and stared at them. One of the girls spilled her drink on the pool table because a bug flew in and she dropped it. Then there’s the upstairs balcony and the whole thing was packed. When they were leaving one of the girls bit it on the sidewalk and everyone erupted in laughter and pointing and clapping. There were probably five production people and a cop, and one guy walking around having people sign release forms.”
Did she sign anything? “Heck no,” she said with noticeable disgust. Rock on, sister…
How recent is this sighting, you know? Been pretty quiet regarding sightings the last few days. Wonder if they are at the group job?

well i seen them last weekend walking towards the house but there was only 4 of them.. and all i kno is that they r always up.. the lights in their house r always on.. but i can never seem to catch them when i’m downtown but i would love to kno where they go a lot… thanks

My group of friends and I were at JR’s when the RWCast showed up. Everyone at the bar seemed pretty content to let the Real World do what they were gonna do, no teenage I-want-to-be-on-TV hysteria, which was nice. Like the “little birdie”, we also tried to avoid the cast, but JR’s being as intimate as it is, it was nearly impossible. However, watching the one girl lose her shoe and kiss the pavement was worth the 2 hour intrusion.

I hope the kid will not be working at JR’s. While many gay people are “out,” I’m sure there are some that wouldn’t want to be seen on MTV hanging out at a gay bar. (Hmmm… not like their boss or their mother would be watching anyway.) Still it seemed like a dumb move by JR’s management in the first place.
Plus, who among JR’s clientle (gay or straight) would want to sign a release form? Not me. You should keep tabs on that Mr. Wenzel.
