– CBS4 Denver reported on its 10 o’clock news last night that “The Real World” Denver producers have been ordered to appear before our city’s Lower Downtown Design Review Board next Thursday, Aug. 3 to explain their apparent illegal construction of a brick wall in their courtyard at 1920 Market St.

– There’s been a lot of debate on this blog lately as to whether it’s merely a gossip/rumor mill or if we’re accurately reporting on the impact of “The Real World” while they film in Denver for the summer.

– Ultimately that’s up to you to decide, but I’d say we’ve done a little of both. Talking about how “The Real World” cast and crew affects their surroundings certainly qualifies as looking at their impact on their environment. Then again, the fact that we’re an interactive blog, constantly investigating tips and photos from readers, leans toward the gossip/rumor side of the fence…

Detoxifying “Real World” Denver cast member Ty may take longer than a couple days.

– A source close to “The Real World” Denver has confirmed that the cast member sent to detox a couple weeks ago was in fact Ty. The University of Nebraska attendee had a yelling match with a woman (possibly a his girlfriend) when the argument spilled out onto the street. It was then that at least one of MTV’s security crew (likely an off-duty uniformed cop) approached him and sent him to detox…
