Wayne Coyne of The Flaming Lips has rather large hands.

– Faithful readers of Get Real Denver, take note: we’re running a couple contests this summer offering tickets to see Social Distortion (July 15), The Raconteurs (July 16) and Ween/Flaming Lips (July 29).

– We’re looking for photos and biographical info on the “Real World” Denver cast members. If you’ve talked to them at a bar or restaurant, send us an anonymous note with their names and any info you collected. If you see them around town (especially up and down Market Street in LoDo), snap a camera phone pic or better yet, a digital camera close-up and send it to us.

– The first person to idenfity one or more cast members — or help us correct any wrong info we have — will get a pair of tickets to see one either Social Distortion or The Ranconteurs (your choice). We’re also seeking video and music submissions (two things MTV no longer really plays). GetRealDenver.com needs a theme song and a music video and we’re looking at you!

– The top three winners will each get a pair of tickets to the sold-out appearance of Ween and Flaming Lips at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on July 29. The song and/or video should be about three minutes in length and not contain any explicitness (except for explicit awesomeness).
