– We’ve all had our moments of excess in life, they’re just not usually played out on a TV show. We were tipped off by reporter Kirk Montgomery, our good friend at 9 News, that a male “Real World” Denver cast member was recently taken into detox for public intoxication.
– You’d think some hard-partying, mostly college-aged people would be able to hold their liquor better, but apparently not…
– Unfortunately we can’t get the name of the cast member because of a new medical information act that protects the privacy of individuals (since when does getting wasted in front of a camera crew qualify as a situation of medical privacy?) but we’ll keep you updated on our search efforts.
– In other “Real World” news, Key West cast member Paula Ann Meronek, 25, was recently arrested in Cromwell, Conn. for biting her boyfriend repeatedly during a domestic dispute early Sunday. Read about it right here.

It’s just the same show every season with the Real World.
It makes me wonder if they dredge the local rehab clinics when they do casting calls since every season as of late, there’s the atypical cast line-up:
Hopeless Alcoholic in denial
Sex Fiend with abuse issues
Male/Female with commitment issues
Self-obsessed Sociopath
Jealous tease
Nice gay guy that ends up be referee
Odd how a reality show can be so predictable when it should be so chaotic by nature.

Paula and Tyler from Real World Key West were at JRs last night (Thursday 07/13).
Paula actually looked great, they were naturally flocked by a few desparates but you know how that goes :)

I was just wondering..does anyone have an idea of when the filming will auctually wrap up?? I have heard rumors that its sopposed to end around the 20th of september…any one else have any better spacifics???

Annette — That sounds about right. We’ve heard 17 weeks, and they started the last week of May/first week of June.
