Gone, daddy, gone

The currently-quiet “Real World” Denver house at 1920 Market St. in LoDo.

– Denver Post reporter Scott Lieber checks in with this update on the normally easy-to-spot “Real World” Denver cast:

“For the time being, there’s no melodrama at 1920 Market St. According to a bouncer at LoDo’s Sports Column (he knows a guy who works security for the show), “The Real World” Denver cast has hit the road and will be out of town for the next few days…

After a quick walk by the house, that looks about right. Even though the windows are clouded (so you can’t see in), it’s clear the lights are off inside. The shades are drawn on the front doors. An officer sitting across the street from the house said he hadn’t seen them all night.

If any readers know where the cast has run off to, drop us a line!”

– They must have left in the past couple days, since we had multiple sightings of the cast and crew around town on Tuesday (at Wild Oats Market, and Gelazzi on Larimer Square, where reader Sarah saw cast member Steve kissing a blonde woman, possibly also a cast member).

– Steve and another white guy (maybe Davis or Alex?) were wearing matching polo shirts, possibly from one of their jobs. We know they’re working as Outward Bound guides, but they’re also rumored to have other jobs around town (at J.R.’s Bar and Grill and Rise Nightclub).

– There was also some filming activity on the sidewalk outside the house on Thursday, although it’s unclear whether any cast members were present. One reader sent in this webcam shot (below) of lighting and production people setting up, although the small, grainy nature of the photo makes it hard to tell what they’re shooting:

  1. Maybe they are on the trip MTV usually sends the cast on. Like how they sent the Key West cast to Spain.
