– Tonight (Wednesday, July 19) on the 10 o’clock broadcast of 9 News, entertainment reporter Kirk Montgomery will run a piece on reality TV shows and their aftermath, including interviews with former reality stars and bar owners that have hosted “The Real World” Denver’s cast and crew…

– Kirk also interviewed yours truly for the piece, although since I’m not as used to being on camera as the people I write about, I’ll probably look a bit weirded out. We taped a chat outside “The Real World” Denver house at 1920 Market St. a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, the show’s crew didn’t come out to chase us away, which no doubt would have made for some great TV.

– Even if you miss the broadcast we’ll post a web link to it on this site tomorrow. I was also recently interviewed by The New York Times for a piece they’re doing on reality TV shows. That’s supposed to run in their upcoming Sunday Style section or shortly thereafter.

– Thanks also to everyone that came to Nallen’s in LoDo last night for the “Real World” trivia round. The standing-room only crowd treated Scott Lieber and me very nicely. We’ll be doing another round at The Irish Rover on South Broadway in a couple weeks…
