A reader-submitted photo of the cast and crew on the 16th St. Mall late Thursday afternoon.
– Thanks to a reader tip, I spotted “The Real World” Denver cast and crew on the 16th St. Mall today around 4:45 p.m. (I was out deposting my paycheck, don’t ya know). A few of the cast members had ducked into Virgin Megastore — sans crew — while the lighting and sound people stayed outside. A uniformed Denver cop (likely off-duty) stood across the street watching the mall warily…
– As it started spitting rain the crew ducked under the Megastore entrance and whipped out a colorful umbrella. Further down the mall, toward the State Capitol, a smaller crew followed a tall-ish blonde as she sauntered down the street. Maybe it was Jenn or Colie? Unfortunately I wasn’t able to snap a picture of her.
The cast and crew on the 16th St. Mall Thursday afternoon.
– We’ve also had a reader report that a cast member might be working at the 16th St. Mall Jamba Juice location under the name Matt. Anyone heard/seen anything about this?
I work on the mall and frequent Jamba Juice, I have yet to see anything that may lead to thoughts of a cast member working there, however, knowing MTV, this may be true

Give me a break. Do you really think I’d want to do this the rest of my career? Maybe you don’t read the paper — I’m a regular entertainment reporter at The Denver Post. I was asked by them to do this blog while the show’s in town…

Hey, it can be a hobby at least. If you dont like it, then dont read this website. And since you sound like you have distaste in the show, then dont watch it! I dont really understand why people get so offended from all of this!

Saw three of the crew on the way home today 7.24.06 at about 545 on 16th St. Mall. Didn’t see any cast members around, but the black guy with the afro, that you had pics of earlier, was there with his camera out.
The chick who denied being on the crew when I asked her at Pride was also there.
I wonder what they were filming.
