Loading ...– It’s been floating around on YouTube the past couple days, but here’s the official promo for “The Real World” Denver, which begins airing on Nov. 7th, 2006. As one of our readers pointed out, the two black cast members (Tyrie and Steven) and the gay guy (Davis) don’t even really appear, which is kind of weird since cast member Alex and the girls get a lot of face time. WTF? Are they not allowed to play spin the bottle too? I say we inundate MTV with angry letters and boycott this racist, homophobic crap!

– Also, as readers have pointed out, some of the cast members (especially Colie and Jenn) look totally different than their Meet the Cast page photos. That’s to be expected, since they’re all done-up and styled, but it’s also the first chance we’re really getting to see these people in action, close-up. They’re going to look different than the snapshots we have of them, natch.
– And is it just me or does Colie kind of look like a catfish during that part where she bites her lip at Alex halfway through? Yikes. And why does Brooke freak out when the bottle hits the table? Did it hurt her hearing aid or something? Alex, I must say, kind of reminds me of Pacey from Dawson’s Creek. (My girlfriend used to watch it religiously in college, OK?)
I find it hard to tell the difference between colie and jenn in this promo because they look identical. Its really weird.

Jen did looks like a catfish. I think this promo is focused on Alex and the girls the other castmembers may have other promos that are yet to come.

People seem to be hating on this season already…but I’m actually excited to see this season. I don’t know, I have a certain warm spot in my heart for young people who go out and get drunk at bars/clubs…maybe because I can relate.
I was probably one of two (or perhaps three) people who really enjoyed Real World: Austin.
I don’t know what people expect from this show. Or what they want to see on it. It is what it is.

Just to speak for the popularity of this season already, yesterday the clip was number 40 most viewed in Entertainment clips, and today, it is number 20 in Entertainment.
Says a lot for the populatiry of this season to come.

This season will be highly hyped…kinda like Real World San Diego which had the highest number of viewers out of any season (Wikipedia)

I must say…seeing that commercial is a good example of how good TV can make people look….In the commercial, the girls look gorgeous….even Colie looks hot….in ‘reality’ Colie was a short somewhat overweight unattractive looking girl….Jenn was ok but nothing special….Brooke was indeed pretty hot but nothing like in the commercial….the magic of television! There goes ‘reality’ out the window!!

Nick - it looks like Alex hooks up with both Colie and Jenn but not Brooke. According to Brooke, she’s the only cast member that didn’t have sex during the season. But we’ll see how that plays out over the coming weeks…

What’s the name of the song being played in the bar when all of the cast are dancing. The lyrics are “baby I wanna believe,….. believe, …..believe”. Its the second night they are there. It is playing when Jen, Collie and Alex do a three way kiss. If anyone knows answer write bak on here.
