In less than a month we’ll know exactly what happened behind those blurry doors.
– Word is that “The Real World” Denver air date as Nov. 7, via a two-minute trailer that shows a lot of crying, people getting into fights, someone in an ambulance and in a hospital bed, and Davis threatening to leave the house. A taste of the sweet softcore soap opera to come? You know it.
– MTV also recently posted an official page for the show on its website, which included a summary of the season, including a line about the cast learning to live in the the wilderness. God… it’s going to be hilarious when they try to portray them as some kind of survivalists, complaining about the altitude and lack of food, while dozens of crew members stand by a few feet off camera…
– The MTV website is rounded out by tons of cast photos, and we’ll of course be bringing you those and more in the coming days.
– My question is this: Which Denver bar is going to be smart enough to be the first to hold “Real World” nights where everyone in the bar tosses back a few and watches the hilarity unfold on a big screen? You know that would be a totally popular night. Maybe have door prizes or something? Or hold it near the now-vacant “Real World” house at 1920 Market St.? If it happens, you read it here first. And I’m going to sue for the rights! Right…
– We also got an e-mail from a dude named Bryan Munson from the marketing department at Wiredset. He’s pimping the latest Duel (RW/RR challenge) and contacting everyone human with a “Real World”-related blog, trying to drum up press. It has nothing to do with “The Real World” Denver, but what the hell, here’s some links to his stuff: The Duel trailer and a Beth and Tina Fight.

John, I posted the trailer on Youtube…though it took forever because it was a Flash file. Looks like a great season ahead!

The trailer makes it look like a really bad soap opera. …Oh wait, nevermind.

Actually I was there and whilst the crew DID get to eat and leave the mountains, the cast members and I were strictly forbidden to even talk to them, much less eat with them.
