– After weeks of speculation and otherwise messing with our heads, MTV has finally announced the official premiere date for “The Real World: Denver” (we mean it this time) as Nov. 22nd. That’s right — it’s a Wednesday, not the normal Tuesdays we’re used to. The 28 episodes will run at 8 p.m. MST on MTV, with lots of bonus goodies and unprecedented new programming leading up to the big air date…

– Some of that additional programming includes the Nov. 8th airing of “The Real World: Denver Casting Specialâ€? on MTV.com. Also, a sneak peek of the season premiere with extra casting footage will be available on MTV.com beginning Nov. 15th. Still want more? Beginning Nov. 22nd, viewers can gear up the next episode with an online preview of each episode before the on-air premiere.

– There will also be “The Real World After Show,â€? a live post-show wrap-up after certain episodes. The talk show will offer Real World alumni as weekly guests and call-ins from “The Real World: Denverâ€? roommates. Viewers will also be able to call into the show and ask the guests and roommates questions.

– With video-on-demand, fans can watch “Kiss and Tell,â€? a look at some of the Denver season’s “most hasty hook-ups,” as well as “House Tour,â€? “Mile High Club,â€? a special tour of Denver hotspots featuring interviews with locals who mixed it up with the cast, and “High Altitude/Bad Attitude,” an extended trailer that mixes shots of the Colorado high country with the “most heated fights of the season.”

– Phew! That’s a lot of content for one season of “The Real World.” Seems that MTV got their money’s worth out of Bunim/Murray Productions (which created and still runs “The Real World”) this time around. There also seems to be more potential for complete saturation and overexposure than ever before. Then again, you know a lot of you will be right there sopping it all up (myself included).

– We have lots more details to report, and a story on “The Real World: Denver” coming in Thursday’s Denver Post, so check back here for all the exclusive news and links.

  1. So Laguna Beach will be done with it’s season already before the 22nd? I thought they get months of air time until early next year or something like that.
