Want to watch “The Real World: Denver” where it was actually filmed? Soon you’ll be able to.
– Michael Martin of MM Agency, always a reliable source for “Real World: Denver” news, recently posted an interview on his blog with the marketing director of LoDo’s Bar and Grill in downtown Denver. The popular bar, practically right next to “The Real World: Denver” house at 1920 Market St., was a favorite hangout of the cast and will likely snag a lot of airtime on the show. And, as I predicted, they’ll be hosting viewing parties when the show airs, possibly featuring some cast members (at this point they’re still working on it). Read his Q&A right here…
– Granted, I didn’t predict which bar would be doing the viewing parties, but the idea seemed so obvious that someone had to jump on it. Anyway, how weird would it be to be watching the show with cast members in the room? Too meta for my pea brain, I tell ya. The article’s pretty short but interesting. Seems like Alex was a popular customer and may shine on the coming season. He was spotted, at various times, making out with Brooke and hooking up with one of LoDo’s servers. Also seems a lot of locals were eager to get in the limelight.
– I talked to Beth, LoDo’s marketing director, this afternoon and she confirmed that negotiations have begun to bring cast members to the bar for the screenings. Of course, they’re looking for a sponsor (Red Bull, perhaps?) since it costs a whopping $1,500 per cast member per night. Think of all the things you could do with that money. Beth also said they may offer drink specials every time you recognize one of your friends on camera or LoDo’s is featured on the show.
