– As we told you last week, LoDo’s Bar & Grille — the spot of many scenes from the forthcoming “Real World: Denver” — will host viewing parties when the show airs, and today they confirmed that some of the show’s cast members will be there. “I am faxing over the contract for Ty to be at Lodo’s for the Nov. 22 premiere/viewing party,” Beth Shaughnessy said. As director of marketing for LoDo Restaurant Group, it’s her charge to wrangle the cast members for the viewing parties…
– So, is this a one-time thing or will LoDo’s be regularly inviting cast members to their viewing parties? “As of right now, we are going to see how it goes with Tyrie and decide if we want to pay for more appearances,” Beth said. Wise choice. Appearances aren’t cheap — about $1,500 per cast member/per event.
– A source close to the show also told us that Denver cast members Stephen, Alex and Brooke will be in town the week after the premiere, though it’s unclear whether they’ll be at LoDo’s viewing parties or those organized by Kevin Larson at Club Vinyl, which hosted the unofficial “Real World: Denver” launch party back in June and the Reality TV Junky Party on Aug. 25th.
