“The Real World: Denver” music video
by John Wenzel on November 3, 2006

– Check out this music video with sneak preview footage of “The Real World: Denver” season, set to music by some dude named Ronnie Day, who kind of sounds like a neutered version of every other emo songwriter in the universe. Turn down the volume or risk somehow remembering this song past its overlong running time.

– The video, which seems to have been intentionally leaked by someone close to the show, reveals little new information about the season, rehashing the same scenes of Davis and Stephen fighting, Colie crying in a hospital bed, an ambulance speeding past, Tyrie and Davis going at it, Alex trying to comfort Jenn, etc.

– At one point we see Tyrie getting handcuffed and deposited into the back of a police car, confirming what we reported months ago — that he had been sent to detox after (supposedly) freaking out on his girlfriend and fighting with her in the street. I’m sure they’ll milk as much drama from it as possible, as they do with everything else. We also get a glimpse of Davis kissing another guy, probably his boyfriend Peter, who came to visit in late June/early July.
