“Real World: Denver” cast member Tyrie and Denver resident Veronica Felix pose at LoDo’s viewing party on Nov. 22.
– If I had been in town last week I would been on top of this, but I’m just now cleaning up some items from “The Real World: Denver” premiere. First off, we’ve got links to video and photos from the premiere party at LoDo’s, which featured cast member Tyrie hanging with the crowd. Follow this link to MM Agency’s website (they book the cast appearances) for pics, and snippets from our friends over at 9News. And don’t forget Scott Lieber’s post-show review…
– I exchanged e-mails with Beth Shaughnessy, LoDo’s marketing director, earlier today and she had this to say: “It wasn’t the hugely attended event we thought it would be, although there were lots of folks there. But I don’t think there was any more we could have done to promote it…. Ty was great and did a good job. We are still talking about future appearances. As of right now, we are going to see if we can build the crowd a bit more, before we invest in another appearance. But I will keep you posted.” (emphasis added)
– Besides the video from LoDo’s, you can go right here for 9News’s collected video segments on “The Real World: Denver” from the past few months. The Denver Post also published this premiere article in my absence. The link includes a download of an amusing cartoon version of this blog that artist Brad Hamann did for us.

– I’d also like to apologize if I misdirected anyone to Quixotes for their RW Denver launch party last Wednesday. I’m not sure where he got his information, but co-owner Scott Morrill told me that Jenn would be on hand for their viewing party. Turns out Jenn and MM Agency didn’t know anything about it. Morrill is supposedly on vacation and I’ve been unable to get a hold of him to get an answer for this error. I’ll keep everyone updated on what I hear.
– There’s a preview of episode 3 on MTV’s official RW Denver site, which doesn’t reveal much except that they’ll continue focusing on the drama between Colie and Jenn, as hunky cast member Alex gets on both of them. Hmmm…
– If you enjoy the casting side of things, Bryan Munson at Wiredset, which does public relations and marketing for this season of “The Real World,” provided these YouTube audition tape mashups. They feature past seasons, plus snippets from the Denver roommates:
