A still from MTV.com’s “Real World: Denver” after show featuring cast member Brooke (center).
– As the folks over at the Real World/Road Rules blog pointed out today, it’s weird to see positive reviews of reality TV shows. The New York Daily News recently published this missive on “The Real World: Denver’s” inaugural episodes, lauding it as “a vital program.” The article also reveals that a producer had to step into to stop a fight during Episode 3 after someone uses the N-word. Yikes…
– Other publications that have sounded off about “The Real World: Denver” are Entertainment Weekly (they call the Denver house a “pimp pad,”) the New York Times (”during the day they work as Outward Bound counselors for adolescents affected by Hurricane Katrina while tearing up the Mile High City at night”) and Newsday (”the granddaddy of all reality shows”). (emphasis added)

I love the real world. I think this season will be the best

Then we can assume that episode 3 will be good! Why would the MTV commercial for tommorow’s episode still focus on Colie, Jenn & Alex when half of the premiere was about them? I’d rather see arguments rather than the constant sexual crap that fills each channel nowadays.
