– We’ve got photos from Vinyl’s “Real World: Denver” launch party on Friday. According to reader reports it didn’t draw as many people as expected, although I’m still trying to verify that with Vinyl. They had a professional photographer on hand so some of the snapshots tend to look a bit posed. Check them out right here. You’ll have to skip ahead to the third page to see the RW Denver cast members. Keep in mind that a lot of people were also there for Denver Nugget Carmello Anthony’s shoe release party.

– Also, Traver Riggins of The Hilltop, Howard University’s student newspaper, recently conducted this interview with “Real World: Denver” cast member Stephen Nichols. Interestingly, Stephen had never seen the show before trying out. Quite a leap of faith on his part, considering all the drama involved…

Do you know which Colorado icon this beanbag circle is trying to replicate?

– We took you inside “The Real World: Denver” house at 1920 Market St. in LoDo long before anyone else, and now that the show’s about to premiere, The Denver Post is offering a detailed look at the former billiards hall and restaurant that hosted the seven roommates from late May to August.

– Staff writer Sheba Wheeler has crafted a nice piece on the two-story structure, which hosted its extensive production facilities in the basement (one of their off-duty-cop security guards told me “it looked like NASA”). Of course, they wouldn’t show anyone that area on the media tour in order to preserve the illusion that it’s a house, not a TV set. Check out Sheba’s article right here…

– We already knew a little about “Real World: Denver” cast member Brooke, like the fact that at 24, she’s the oldest of the roommates, or that she’s from Nashville and that her parents (Carolyn and Joe) are both clinical psychologists.
