8:00: At the outset of this week’s episode, we’re reintroduced to the cast’s Outward Bound jobs via flashbacks, including how Colie cuddled with an employee there named Adam (a big no-no according to their rules) and how Brooke turns into a shrieking banshee when it comes to touching mountain stream water.

8:01: More idyllic shots of Denver’s City Park, which is currently undergoing major re-landscaping. Man, the camera really loves that place for interstitial shots, considering it’s been in nearly every episode. Too bad none of the cast members ever seemed to make it there…

According to Jenn and Colie, the boys always bring home the sluttiest of sluts.

– After last week’s exercise in petulance, er, the Outward Bound follies, we return to the Mile High City for more of what the roommates do best: drink and scream. A brief review of other episodes sets up the dominant themes of this one, namely how Davis would totally do Brooke if he weren’t gay, and how Jenn hates men sometimes. Alex in particular.

– Stephen and Alex meet a couple girls at an unidentified bar on Market Street and Jenn steps in to remind Stephen of his faithfulness to his girl back East, Mercii. Back at the house a horny, not-so-subtle Brooke starts telling Davis how she “needs a penis.” Other roommates and various hangers-on cavort in the background, underscoring her existential dilemma. Looks like they brought home more strays than usual that night. And I think I recognize a few of them…

– Tonight’s episode looks like another winner, with a (second!) hottub makeout session between various cast members, then Stephen getting pissed at Jenn and smacking his hands on the kitchen counter, and Davis and Brooke drunkenly debating whether they should seal the deal with a night of love. Will they? Should they? Does anyone have an alcohol problem? Questions with answers, my friends, questions without answers…

– Today’s installment finds the cast continuing with their training days at Outward Bound. After rock climbing on last week’s episode, the lesson continues with even more rappelling. Alex goes first because he has “very little apprehension about going off this cliff.” Go for it, big boy.

– His castmates follow him down, shakily, but without incident. Of course, the two acrophobes are saved for last — Tyrie and Brooke. Tyrie looks, uh, snug in his harness, but admits he’s pretty freaked out. He begins crying when he reaches bottom. You can’t blame him. It’s a gnarly-looking cliff…
