– If the crap passing itself off as “The Real World: Denver” can’t be intelligent or interesting — and by this point we know it can’t — it can at least be trashily entertaining. And boy, did this week’s episode deliver. The roommates are well established in their roles and alliances, so let the fighting to begin. Here’s a blow-by-blow:

8:00: We open with flashbacks to past episodes of Brooke freaking out, Colie talking to her at-home boyfriend Corey, and Alex saying he wants Colie to make up her mind about him. As we all know, these story lines will be exploited in the coming minutes…

“The Real World: Denver’s” Davis hugs his boyfriend PJ at Denver International Airport.

– Just in time for Valentine’s Day, it’s a couples-themed “Real World: Denver,” with maximum relationship drama for your viewing pleasure. Davis’s boyfriend PJ comes to visit and Stephen’s girl Mercii shows up. Will they clash over Davis’s homosexuality? Will they hump each other like drunken animals? Will love triumph in the end?

– We start with Davis, Jenn and Colie visiting Pridefest 2006 at Civic Center Park. The annual gay pride celebration, which drew about 200,000 people last year, is filled with lots of fun things for the roommates to do, like be dicks to the locals. – This week’s “Real World: Denver” deals with the visit of Davis’s boyfriend, PJ (or Peter), whom we wrote about over the summer in this post. Stephen, always the homophobe, seems freaked out by the fact that guys are sleeping in the same bed and doing what people in relationships do. Of course, we know from this blogosphere story that PJ and Davis didn’t end up together after all…
