UMS video
Patrick Meese and Isaac Slade chat with Sara Crocker on our UMS video.

– Holy crap, what a Saturday. Thanks to everyone that showed up on Aug. 11 for our 7th Annual Underground Music Showcase. It was a blast and a great success, filling clubs and shops along South Broadway with happy, sweaty music fans.

– For everyone that didn’t come — you missed out on a great time, and we really hope you’ll come next year. Check out our video segment on it and a slideshow that John Moore put together. We’ve also got fans posting tons of their own photos via Flickr on our UMS homepage and some the very talented Doug Beam, Laurie Scavo, #3 and FocusTree Photography.

Technocrati collects various posts about it here, and YouTube has a list of UMS-related videos here. Or you can watch individual full-length interviews with Patrick Meese and Isaac Slade (Meese, the Fray), Dan, Nathan, and Stephen (Nathan & Stephen), Jim McTurnan (Cat-A-Tac), and John Kuker (Everything Absent or Distorted), and performances of Pee Pee and The Archive. And here’s a clip of Isaac Slade’s impromptu acoustic performance of “Happiness.”
