When it comes to being mildly freaky, Devendra Banhart has your ass beat. He doesn’t necessarily out-weird the weirdest person you’ve met, but his inscrutable indie-folk tunes (which really span the entire pop-rock expanse, especially on his new disc) are about as predictable as a game of pinball. Banhart stops by the Ogden Theatre tonight for a set that will surely feature songs from his latest disc, “Smokey Rolls Down Thunder Canyon.” If you feel like a shot in the arm of gentle psych-rock and timelessly organic lyrics and melodies, stop on by.
