Meet the Onion @ Neighborhood Flix

dumb world
If you don’t think our world is dumb, then you’re dumb.

The Onion, that long-running, web-savvy bastion of unrepentantly harsh political/cultural humor, is easily one of the best comedy games around. In an environment of diminishing returns from sitcoms, mainstream stand-ups and stale sketch shows, the fake news publication consistently delivers the most cutting-edge satire in the English language.

Now’s your chance to meet the Onion. Or rather, meet a couple of the writers behind the Onion’s new atlas-style New York Times bestseller “Our Dumb World.” Check the Denver presentation (they speak in Boulder tonight at Old Main on the CU campus) tomorrow night (Thursday, Jan. 31) at the brand-spankin’ new Neighborhood Flix Cinema & Café. The event is co-hosted by the Tattered Cover at 2510 E. Colfax Ave. from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. And there’s an after-party at Rockbar, so you can get drunk with a bunch of professional smartasses. Fun!
