This guy. On a hill. No more.

Raise your rock fists, Denver music fans: This weekend is probably your last chance to check out live tunes at Cricket on the Hill, a Mile High City standby that’s going by the wayside. The 13th and Downing institution/darkened bar will shut down after Saturday, partly due to the fact that owner Chris Rawles is dealing with cancer.

They’ll send the place off in righteous style with loads of local acts. Here’s the breakdown, straight from the owners:

Fri. March 14th
doors 7 p.m. show 8 p.m. $5
Truth of The Matter
Wanker
EBWA
Buckwild
Horse
Death Valley Pom Squad

Sat. March 15th
Cover for late show $5 show 8 p.m.
Tony Medina’s Jam
3 p.m.-7 p.m.
No cover for early show
Sweet Willam
Swindlers
Swanks
King Rat
Heeler

Drink specials both nights.

We will have a barbecue out back starting at 5 p.m. on Fri. 3 p.m. on Saturday.
Call club for more details!
